Baptist Church youth travel to Greece
First Baptist Church student ministries in Centerville have participated in Eagle Leadership Training for four years. The culmination of the training was celebrated with a trip to Greece to follow the Journeys of the Apostle Paul. The trip began in Thessaloniki, Philippi, and Delphi.

Greece and Korea direct air connection
The Greek Minister of Transportation & Communications Mr. Mihalis Liapis and his Korean counterpart Mr. Yongsup Lee signed a Memorandum of Understanding linking Athens and Seoul with a direct air service. The signing ceremony took palce during Mr. Liapis’ visit in Seoul.

The cleanest beaches in Europe are in Cyprus and Greece
According to a report released May 31 by the European Union. Cyprus had a score of 99 percent compliance with the EU's strictest standards, and Greece scored 96 percent. Spain's beaches scored 92.7 percent. At the bottom of the list was Luxembourg, whose beaches scored only 35 percent. The report on the 2006 season evaluated almost 22,000 beaches.
