Holidaymakers who decide to visit the Greek island of Rhodes next year will experience the destination as it marks some historical milestones.
The island will be celebrating 700 years since the founding of Rhodes medieval town in 2009.
This location is one of the many historical attractions on the island. Another location of interest, the ruins of Kamiros, will next year mark 250 years since it was first discovered.
